3RD WOMENS TEAM
By Annie @ 4:36 p.m. :: 377 Views :: 1 Comments :: Article Rating :: Senior Womens

The Waiuku Ladies travelled to Crossfields Reserves to take on top of the table Eastern Suburbs. After losing to this side last round 8.2 Our Coach said we were not to let that worry Us & this was a new game go out there & play team football so that is what we did. We opened the scoring playing against the wind which had Eastern Suburbs totally shocked. They came back at Us time & again & finally managed to equalize. There were plenty of chances in the second half for either team to take the lead but both teams held on for a draw. The team felt it was more like a win than a draw as We stepped up hugely from or last encounter. Goal scorer Rachel

Well done, team! Hardly surprising but great to read about how you have developed, (comment from Bristol, UK)
