Waiuku Womens' 1st Div Team win away from home in the rain.
The Women went out very positive and determined to bring home the points from Fencibles. Sally Berridge attacked a loose ball from left back, 35yds out, in the 2nd minute of the game. She hit it perfectly to bounce in front of the keeper, over her head and into the goal. Further into the half Sandie Ralph stepped up to convert a free kick, albeit off the Fencibles defender. In the second half Lara Wooles was fouled in the Penalty area. Laura Johnstone slotted in a fine Penalty, resulting in a 3-1 win to the Waiuku Ladies. Another fine Team effort.
