Have you ever been to the Pacific Resort in Raratonga – golden sands, crystal clear water, beautiful bikini clad women and handsome men walking up and down the beach hand in hand. Well Kariotahi Beach (three minutes from Waiuku) is a near exact replica except the sand is black, the water murky but at least the good looking Waiuku men’s and women players will be lining its shores.
Waiuku Football Club is holding their first family club event of the season down at the Kariotahi Beach on Sunday the 8th of February. It starts at 9.30am with the orange cones marking out the soccer field at about 10.00am.
Bring your own picnic or whatever you want to eat but remember there is an alcohol ban so please only bring water, fruit juice etc for your refreshment
