Waiuku will be sending an U19 Mens team to this years Napier Tournament which covers the Labour Weekend in Oct. The team will consist of players from the 1st Team, Reserves, YDS and possibly 2 guest players. On home soil, the Waiuku ladies suffered a devastating loss in Round 2 of the Women’s Knockout Cup. The Div 2 side faced Div 1 opponents, Fencibles, and dominated, with what supporters reviewed to be their best performance all season. Although the final score was 3-2, Waiuku’s defence claimed credit for three of the five goals, while its strike force took the other two.

Waiuku took on Waikato/Bay of Plenty division team Te Awamutu in their first New Zealand wide knockout game called the Chatham Cup. Waiuku didn't have it all their own way however even though Te Awamutu play in a division below as they went 2-0 down within 15 minutes only to run riot in the second half and take the game 5-2.
