On Sunday, the Waiuku Womens' 1st Division Team took on Eastern Suburbs in a hard fought battle under the hot sun at Massey Park, for the 1st game of the season.                                  Although the first half was very even, with both teams having a number of chances, Waiuku went in at half time 1-0 down.                                                                                                            The second half started in much the same manor, with Eastern Suburbs then scoring a lucky 2nd goal.                                                                                                                                               Waiuku Keeper, Vicki Watson, defied a number of attacks before Striker, Lisa Wooles, found the back of Suburbs net.                                                                                                                                Final score 3-1 to Eastern Suburbs.
