Great result for the home team who played a very strong Fencibles side on the saturday of the 19th july.The boys who are in the lead at the moment needed to step up and play some good football,and after three weeks of no soccer it did show as the Fencibles scored first  and put the first goal past Callum Senior this year,this lifted the wekas into action and Alan Turoa Barnett slammed home the boys first goal.the game see sawed in the first half and at the half time whistle it was 2 all. Waiuku came out all guns blazing and Alan scored twice more to give him a well deserved hat trick his 6 of the year, great game by all the boys in the second half and Sean Jamieson was given the player of the day award for some great defending,   Waiuku well deserved winners on the day and it takes them to 12 points on the table, two goals clear of papatoetoe who drew on the weekend.
