3RD WOMENS TEAM

The Ladies travelled to Centre Park today to take on Papatoetoe in a knockout round. After 3 weeks of postponements again it was had running on a fairly soft pitch. We had numerious chances in the 1st half but the ball didn't want to go in the net if we had of the game would have been completely different. We went 1 nil down & finally before half time pegged one back.
Second half the ground was firmer for defending but despite this we conceded 2 more goals. The team still played some nice passing football & were unlucky not to score as they deserved. Final score 1.3 down.
This means the Ladies have finished their season until the tournaments start in september. Goal scorer Layla
