3RD WOMENS

Waiuku Ladies were given another couple of games to play & took on Eastern Suburbs at Crossfields Reserve. The two previous encounters resulted in a 8.2 loss & a 1 all draw. Without the Captain & two other team players the coach reshuffled the line up. The ladies were all fired up to be able to play a game as it was a couple of weeks since their last game. Waiuku were out to show that their 4th place finish was no coincidence & dominated most of the 1st half. The ladies went into the break a goal up.

Second half started much the same as the 1st but Suburbs had the wind as an advantage this half. The back line held strong the entire match & kept out the attacks from Suburbs. Final score 1 nil the Blues. Goal scorer Desiree
