3RD WOMENS

The Waiuku Ladies travelled away for the 3rd time in a row. This time to Riverhills Park to take on Fencibles in a Plate final. The teams both had a wind assisted half but neither could capitalize on this. Waiuku played into the wind 1st half & despite having most of the possession could not capitilize. Half time & the score was nil all.

Second half the Blues had the wind with them & made the Fencibles team work very hard with nice passing football from the back through to the front but again just couldnt find the net. Final whistle blew & the scores were even. Having to have a result the teams went to penalties & the Blues came out the winners what a fabulous end to Our season.

Next weekend the team are entered into a copper 8's tournament & the following weekend a tournament in Pukekohe. Thankyou to all Our loyal supporters whom followed Us each Sunday to the games (sometimes in atrocious weather) and last of all what a fabulous bunch of Ladies & Coach we have had this season.
