The Waiuku Northern Division 1 team and Reserve Team squads begin training on the 20th of January for the up and coming 2009 season. Those who want to be considered for selection should turn up at the Glenbrook Training section at 6.30pm.
The coaching staff is as follows for what is being regarded as a exciting year for the two teams:
Premier Team Coach: Jim Evans has retained his position as the Premier Team coach with nearly five years experience of his playing squad and the level of football that is required by the team.
Assistant Premier Team Coach: Jason Heather comes into the club bringing with him both playing and coaching experience at this level. Jason's expertise in goalkeeping ensures the goalkeepers will continue to be challenged.
Reserve Team Coach: Ward Jameson has stepped back into Waiuku football and brings with him many years of coaching experience. His technical ability will ensure that players in the reserve team get the support they need to make it to the first team level.
Premier Team Manager: Nigel Ward has been retained for the fourth year in a row as the Premier Team Manager and again brings with him the experience needed to manage a sports team.
The Glenbrook Training section is behind the Glenbrook Kindergarten on the main Glenbrook Rd opposite Glenbook Station Rd.
